I am not exactly a Christmas song hater, but Bastille made me listen to his versions of Christmas songs throughout the whole year.

Is it that the two people in Skulls use religion as an anchor to their new reality? And this religious connection woulf then link to the religious/cult theme in WW? It seems very strange, because the Christmas song is about birth, while Skulls is about death. It is also fun to see people hearing their favorite song that they thought they could sing along, and it turns out to end in such an unusual way.īut anyway, why would the song connect Oh Holy Night and Skulls. When I first heard Tuning Out, I laughed out loud at the transition from the angelic Oh Holy Night to the somewhat demonic-sounding version of Skulls.
